- If you are a vegetarian, try Indian restaurants. They usually
have vegetarian dishes.
- Macrobiotic is a diet which is cooked under certain rules such as how to stir in a pan, etc. They don't
use meat and other unrecommended stuff. It seems that these restaurants are not popular, so they don't last. So you should visit above restaurants as soon as possible before they are closed down.
- If you just cannot eat meat but can eat fish, you have a variety of choice in Japan.
- You have to be careful when you ask "vegetarian dish." Most Japanese are unaware how they use bits of meat and fish broth in their cooking. They believe if they don't use a big portion of meat, it is a vegetarian dish for them, but probably not for you.
