Sightseeing>Amusement in Osaka>Minami
"Minami" literally means "South," so Minami area is
located in the sourthern part of Osaka, or I would say the at the sourthern
end of Mido-suji Avenue. The location usually includes Shinsaibashi and
Namba. Both are typical downtown areas which are filled with lots of restaurants,
entertainments and shops.
If you go a bit more south from Minami area, you will arrive
the area called Shinsekai where Tsutenkaku Tower is located.
This Minami Area walk starts from Shinsekai.

Here, you can find everything you need to equip a restaurant, such as plastic food samples. If you are a chef at a restaurant or home you must visit and check items here.

Walking on beautiful cobbleston pathways you will find moss-covered Buddhist stone statue. This is the Hozen-ji Buddhist temple. In my opinion, the priest and monks here in this bustling shopping and entertainment district are very serious in Buddhism.
The area was once burned down by fire several years ago, and it revived. There are many fancy restaurants. My recommendation is Katsu-don, 600yen.
